 My Body, My Choice - Today a delegation of 3 students and 4 professionals leave for Namibia on a second exchange programme with OYO in Namibia. The students will be writing a series of Duologues with 3 young people in Namiba, exploring issues  around sexual health and early teenage pregnancy. In May, 3 young people from Namibia will come to Newham to workshop and prepare the performances with the Newham students for year 9 students  in  6 Newham schools. Later in the year, the young people will be brought together again to create a valuable resource for teachers to use when exploring issues of sexual health with young people in school. This project has been funded by the Olympic Citizenship strand of the NRF fund and Healthy Schools.
