The first partnering country for exchange was identified in February 2006, when a team of three creative Arts teachers from Newham travelled to Namibia, South Africa to research the possibility of partnering with the Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO), who work with youth groups across the northern regions. The team took resources and greetings from young people in Newham and returned with resources and greetings from young people in Namibia.
