Solid Harmony Choir returned from York last night, where the members and their conductor have been training with several American and Canadian choirs for the week. They met many composers and sang their music leading up to a wonderful concert for peace held at the University of York. Solid Harmony also performed a set of their own music, including the song taught to them by their Namibian friends, the beautiful and haunting 'Heavenly Father', written to raise awareness about the devastation of HIV/Aids and about how to stay safe.
